In Counter-Strike, Andrey knows what to do: take position, cover a teammate, wait for his chance. Beyond the screen, everything is harder. His parents are heading for divorce, his first love needs his help, and adult life begins long before he is ready for it. A job in a store, a rented apartment, a baby daughter. Andrey does his best to provide for his family, but money barely stretches far enough, and he has less energy to spare each day. Then the hobby he has been criticized for so often offers an unexpected opportunity: a place on a team, his first tournaments, a path into professional esports. He is ready to train through the night and fight for every round. But at home, he is increasingly met with silence. As Andrey learns to win in front of thousands of spectators, what matters most is happening where the cameras never look.
